I want to love these shoes.
They are very comfortable for short walks or running quick
errands, but the inside strap grommet on the left shoe rubs
against my instep and becomes quite painful after a while. I
developed a dime-sized blister after wearing them for a few
hours, even with thick socks. I bought this shoe for work
because I needed shoes that didn't have holes in them. I have
to wear socks with the troikas because the part of the shoe
that comes over the instep is a bit tight and rubs enoughto
leave a mark with or without socks. Despite the rubbing, they
ARE comfortable; when you are busy youdon't have time to
notice the rubbing. I love wearing Crocs as I have metatarsal
bursitis, so I'm always looking for something comfortable. I
ordered these and found they were two different sizes,
although marked the same. The smaller shoe was snug. I
exchanged them for another pair which seem to be fine. I
needed a waterproof & comfortable walking shoe that didn't
look silly as I walk almost 5km per day to work in all kinds
of weather & sandshoes are too impracticle as water can soak
through & don't last too long. I suddenly thought of Croc's &
had a look at their range. The Croc's Troika is so comfortable
& exactly what I needed. I also wear them with jeans & out
walking the dogs as they don't scratch & I can just wipe them
clean again. This shoe is not sized at all like the other
Crocs. I purchased it because I have plantar fasciitis and my
other Crocs make my foot feel better. It is so narrow, short
and rubs the top of my foot that it makes everything else
heart! I read the reviews that they stretch but beware - they
do not stretch even with a shoe stretcher. |
