This was my first pair of
Crocs. I think they are great; especially for the
winter, unlike the original style that has holes for
ventilation which would allow for slush to move right in. I
have a relatively wide foot, and they felt great except for
the top of the suede. That was quickly solved by not using the
sling back and wearing them as a regular clog with thinner
socks. My feet do get a bit sweaty in them, since they are
completely closed in, but the comfort is definitely there and
there is no stink left behind. Too bad there aren't better
color options...but the Specialist is very similar and offers
more colors. Perhaps I'll try those next.
I love the Croc caymans, this
was my first try with any other stlye. They were lovely to
look at, but I found them to be quite tight and uncomfortable.
I must have a higher instep or something because they were
tight across the top. They ran much smaller than the caymans
as well. Love the looks. I absolutely love crocs. One problem
with this shoe is the top is very high. That means that every
time you walk up stairs the top of the shoe hits you in the
ankle. I have never experienced this before.I just wear it
when I know I will not do a lot of stairs. I bought these to
wear to work (office casual). I have rheumatoid arthritis and
these shoes are great. The only thing I'll do when I order
another pair is go up one size; the size I have fits okay, but
I think one size up would be a little better. They look good
with pants or denim skirt. I'm sold on them! |
