I have a high arch and often
wear handknit sox, so I always buy SOfft a half size
larger than my normal size. This is my 5th pair. The leather is
forming to my foot-tops nicely and the footbeds are tres
comfy. Here in the Pacific Northwest, these winter-wear Soffy
will be just the ticket! These run narrow. I've resorted to
having my husband wear them around the house trying to stretch
them out. I have always loved Soffts and was excited about the
new style, but wish they were wider. I bought these because I
couldn't find anything affordable or somewhat attractive for
working in a restaurant. Since I have flat feet and heel
spurs, I added a 3/4 orthotic-type insole and these work just
fine for all day on your feet. I did notice that using a full
size orthotic wouldn't work because of the narrowness on the
top of the shoe/foot (I think that's where the suede and
rubber come together), so that's why I took others' advice and
ordered the size up from what I usually wear (7 to 7 1/2) and
that was perfect.
Really like them, they are comfortable and look like you are
wearing clogs because of the fabric insert. Very attractive
too.I recommend them! The Troika is sized much different than
the Cayman Croc (or those similar). They are shorter and
narrower. They fit more like a regular shoe. I wear an 8.5
shoe. I wear an 8 in the Cayman. I probably should have
ordered a 9 in the Troika because my toe is right at the front
. I wore them one day and did a fair amount of walking and
they were comfortable. |
